AES Curation Workshop

The AES, founded in 1935, is a society for all entomologists. We are a registered charity run byvolunteersfor those with an interest ininsects(entomology). Many members also have a wider interest in natural history in general.Our aimsare to promote the study of entomology, including among amateurs and the younger generation, and to contribute to invertebrate conservation.

Amateur Entomologists' Society

Meet up at 10:30 for an 11;00 start.
Curation workshop, led by Victoria Burton, Peter Hodge and Chris Raper.
We will cover how to prepare insects, especially flies, wasps and beetles, for a scientific collection, but we can cover other insect Orders too. 
Please let us know which Orders you're particularly interested in, so that we can tailor the day to your needs as far as possible.
All ages welcome.
