A.F.C.A.S. – POSITIONAL SCOUTING & RECRUITMENT WORKSHOP - MODULE 3
WORKSHOP: Online fully interactive.
WORKSHOP LENGTH: 7+ hours, with additional distance learning tasks to be completed. The workshop is spread over two evenings of three and a half-hour sessions.

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR: This two-day, seven-hour, fully interactive workshop is designed for scouts, coaches, and agents who have previously attended our MODULE 1 & 2 WORKSHOPS and wish to further develop their scouting and recruitment knowledge. This workshop is a continuation of the MODULE 2 workshop.
This workshop teaches advanced scouting skills used in player assessment and advanced scouting techniques used at professional levels.
The knowledge gained from the Module 1 & 2 workshops is required to complete the scouting and recruitment tasks.

Attendees will enhance their understanding of the Scouting Process and how Recruitment Departments function through unique scenario tasks, preparing them for situations they will encounter while working at a professional football club.
Attendees will further their scouting development and learn how to assess players in more detailed areas of performance, including assessing performance in the nine areas of player possession.
The workshop will show how to assess player performance over a number of matches to judge their signing potential.
Additionally, the workshop will cover player gamesmanship, game management, and leadership.
Specialist playing positions will be evaluated and assessed using video tasks to develop technical understanding and knowledge.
Attendees will learn the advanced scouting technique of assessing multiple players in one game.
Furthermore, this workshop covers advanced recruitment techniques for the role of Chief Scout / Head of Recruitment. Through scenario tasks, attendees will step into the shoes of a recruitment decision maker and gain an understanding of how a playing squad is constructed.
Scouting handouts and software will be provided to all participants before and after the workshop, enabling them to complete their own scouting reports using various scouting templates for different assignments.
