    Leeds's favourite African and Caribbean Food Fest is BACK! bigger with over 25+ food stalls

    So, be prepared to tantalize your taste buds and experience a culinary & colourful explosion of African and Caribbean Food and drinks.

    Venue- Leeds, Kirkgate Indoor Market - 34 George Street, LS2 4HY (Kitchen Hall)

    Date- Saturday 24 August 2024, Bank Holiday Weekend

    Time- 9 am till 4.30 pm

    This year's annual food event, not only coincides with Leeds's largest West Indian street carnival it promises to be bigger and brighter

    Why? It aims to bring together over 25 + food, drinks and craft stalls under one roof to celebrate the culinary skills, and flavors of Africa and the Caribbean, brought to you, by our very own esteemed culinary chefs.

    So what's it all about?


    Leeds, African, and Caribbean Food Fest, now in its 4th year will celebrate the rich and diverse culinary traditions and skills of the African and Caribbean people.

    It aims to bring together foodie lovers, chefs, and cultural enthusiasts from across the city and beyond

    Our independent culinary chefs will be showcasing an array of traditional African and Caribbean dishes each with its unique blend of spices and flavors.

    From spicy jerk chicken to savory jollof rice, curry mutton with rice, ackee with fried dumplings you name it. The food fest will offer a wide variety of dishes that will take your taste buds on a tropical journey like no other.

    Pop-up carnival parade, resident DJ playing the very best, soulful grove, and steel pan orchestra

    Sweet Desserts and Pop-up cocktail bar

    It doesn't just stop there, it gets better don't forget to save room for sweet desserts – sweet Jamaican treats like coconut tarts, rum cake you name it.

    To wash everything down. Yes! you guessed it our personalised pop-cocktail bar. Will be back with us again serving up a mixture of red, yellow, and green, mean lean tropical cocktails.....
