Join the UK Alumni Association (USUKAA) for its AGM followed by a special afternoon tea in the Formal Dining Room at The Hurlingham Club.

All University of Sydney alumni and friends are welcome, but only paid-up members of the USUKAA may vote at the AGM.

Do not miss this opportunity to visit a 40-acre country estate in London alongside the River Thames. Membership of the club has been closed for several years and alumni and friends of USUKAA have been granted access through the sponsorship of our Chairman, Dolores Ditner in whose name the afternoon tea reservation has been made. To be granted access to the Club, please mention her name at the Main Gate.

Directions: Putney Bridge Station (District Line) + 3 minute walk to Main Gate of Club.


SCHEDULE:

11.00am Arrive at The Hurlingham Club and meet in front of the Oval Room where tea will be served. As it will be good weather we can walk out to the terrace which has been reserved for us.

12 noon AGM in the Dining Room next to the Oval Room

12.30pm Walk around the grounds of the club along the river

1.15pm. Light Refreshments (sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee, red and white wine) on a self-service basis in the Dining Room

2.30pm. Tea with scones, jam, cream, cakes and coffee

4.30pm. End of event.

The University of Sydney UK Alumni Association (USUKAA) exists to encourage its alumni members working/living/studying in the United Kingdom to engage in the life of the University and with each other. Alumni in other European countries, and friends of the University, are also welcome to join and to participate in the Association's events.

The Association has an active membership which includes graduates from a variety of disciplines, including Arts, Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Architecture, Social Work and Agricultural Science.
