The Nottingham and Derby Society of Architects are a local branch of RIBA East Midlands and are working to improve the quality of architecture and urban spaces within our cities.The committee is formed completely of volunteers working hard alongside their jobs within architecture and related industries to provide knowledge, content and events for local architects and others interested in our built environment.Thank you for your support!

The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for you to have your say in how the Nottingham & Derby Society of Architects is run.

General running order on the evening will be as follows:<ol><li>Welcome (Chair)</li><li>Review of financial Accounts (Treasurer)</li><li>Review of past term outputs (Secretary &amp; Chair)</li><li>Announcement of positions being challenged </li><li>Presentations from candidates</li><li>Ballot by show of hands </li><li>Announcement of outcome (Secretary / Chair)</li><li>Welcoming in new of committee (Outgoing &amp; Incoming Chair)</li><li>Close</li></ol>Members of any level (Levels Include: Chartered RIBA Members, Associate RIBA Members, &amp; Student RIBA Members) can put themselves forward to be a committee member, the exception to this is typically the roles of the Chair and Hon. Treasurer, who are required to be Chartered RIBA Members. The current committee voted to approve an amendment to this stipulation, to create flexibility in the event of limited uptake or interest shown from Chartered Membership. If you choose to stand in a role we ask that you take the position seriously, be able to commit a suitable amount of time over your tenure and expect you to conduct yourself as a professional as you would in practice.
