What you will learn
This is the first of two sessions which looks at how to get AI to work for you. These sessions are booked individually, so you can attend both of them or one of them.

In this one, we will look at:

• Understand what AI is and how it works
• Write clear, effective prompts
• Use AI to help with common tasks (e.g., a job application)
• Know when not to use AI and key risks

Join this friendly, beginner‑safe course—no prior AI experience needed. We’ll share some new ideas, show you how it all works in practice, and give you a chance to try things out for yourself in a supportive environment.

Meet your workshop leader:
Chris Davidson is on a mission to make AI feel approachable for everyone. As a Team Advocate at Atlassian, Chris specialises in taking the jargon and complexity out of new technology and replacing it with simple, practical steps anyone can follow.
