AI for Regulators

AI for Regulators

PwC GibraltarGibraltar
Friday, Feb 6, 2026 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm CET
Overview

A regulator-focused session centred on oversight, governance and risk awareness — not AI implementation.

Course Overview

This session is designed for Gibraltar’s regulatory bodies to explore the

practical implications of artificial intelligence from a regulatory, supervisory and

governance perspective.

The session focuses on how AI is being adopted by regulated firms, the risks and

opportunities this creates, and how regulators can maintain effective oversight without

needing to become AI implementers themselves.

Using practical, sector-relevant case studies, the course examines where AI is already

influencing decision-making, compliance, monitoring and reporting, and what this means

for regulatory supervision, accountability and assurance. The emphasis is

on understanding, challenge and control, rather than technical deployment.

Target Audience

This session is intended for senior leaders, policy makers and supervisory teams from:

 Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC)

 Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (including telecoms and data protection functions)

 Gibraltar Gambling Commission

 Gibraltar Financial Intelligence Unit (GFIU) and related public sector bodies

LSRA
