AI for traffic control

We are the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence.The Institute is named in honour of Alan Turing, whose pioneering work in theoretical and applied mathematics, engineering and computing is considered to have laid the foundations for modern-day data science and artificial intelligence. The Alan Turing Institute

This workshop is held in collaboration with the Toyota Mobility Foundation, who are sponsoring the Turing’s research into <A HREF="https://www.turing.ac.uk/news/optimising-flow-within-mobility-systems-ai" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Optimising flow within mobility systems with AI</A>. It forms part of the Turing’s research programme on AI. 
The workshop is aimed at identifying solutions for future urban development and traffic planning. We will bring together the Turing’s partner network to explore how AI and data science can help address the challenges faced by traffic planners and controllers. This will be a chance to hear from researchers, traffic authorities and users about their innovative approaches and grow the community of traffic data science / AI experts and users in the UK. It will be a space to create momentum for greater collaboration among all stakeholders.
