How do we teach AI? Join AI School, a place where AI learns.

We welcome you to A﻿I School where we’ll be taking a critical look at how we teach AI. Join this event which is hosted by artists Lily McCraith and Soul Miles who will give you an insight into both the process of training AI systems themselves, and also how we teach those who will operate them: engineers, consumers, researchers and decision makers."﻿If you give a teacher an apple..."In this interactive workshop, we'll make a handmade dataset of images of one specific apple, to train a Google do-it-yourself AI. Using imaging techniques such as photography, drawing, 3D scans and potato prints to explore what goes into training AIs, and which viewpoints are considered in the process. AI: Who’s looking after me? This event is part of a series of workshops hosted at Science Gallery London this April in the lead up to the major exhibition AI: Who’s looking after me? Which launches at the gallery in June, exploring the topic of AI and ethics in collaboration with arts organisation <a href="https://futureeverything.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Future Everything</a>.About Science Gallery London<a href="https://london.sciencegallery.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Science Gallery London </a>is a place to grow new ideas across art, science and health. It is <a href="https://www.kcl.ac.uk/visit/science-gallery-london" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">King’s College London’s</a> flagship public space that brings together academics, researchers, students, and local communities. We present exhibitions, events, performances, live experiments, open discussions and festivals. Following a temporary closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our doors are now open and once again you can explore our exhibitions and events for free.
