AI & Society - Human-AI Talks

The Human-AI Talks, hosted by the Digital Data Design Institute at Nova SBE and NOVA Medical School, is a dynamic gathering designed to bring together students, faculty, and professionals from across industries to explore the cutting-edge of artificial intelligence in practice.

The first event of the series, “AI & Society”, will spotlight how AI transforms how we work, measure, and include.

Featured speakers include Sofia Bapna (Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota), addressing the urgent need to fix diversity in tech with “Fixing Diversity in AI”, Ravi Bapna (Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota), who will demystify “5 Common Myths About AI”, and Gordon Burtch (Digital Business Institute at Boston University's Questrom School of Business), who will explore how AI is reshaping business and academic metrics in “How AI is Redefining What We Can Measure”, this event marks a key step in fostering critical dialogue and experimentation around AI’s real-world impact.
