China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association (CBAIA) is a not-for-profit organization, with the aim of establishing a platform and a community where UK-based Chinese Artificial Intelligence professionals and researchers can share industrial and academic resources and knowledge.CBAIA was cofounded by 18 Chinese professionals located in London (please visit ‘Executive Committee‘), who are passionate about the development of Artificial intelligence and the collaboration between China and the UK. 中英人工智能协会将于11月1日晚上6：30在Refinitive隆重组织第一次 AI见证中英黄金时代活动。 此次活动旨在介绍人工智能技术在各行各业应用前景，探讨中英两国在人工智能方面合作和交流，包括科技领域和人才交流领域。 此次活动特别邀请驻英国使馆科技处，蒋苏南公参。著名人工智能专家，英国皇家工程院杨广中院士，techUK Head of AI Sue Daley，启迪控股英国有限公司总裁林酌存，Eigen Tech CEO 刘子若，Refinitive创新和产品研发总监Geoffrey Horrel 及其他包括英国deepmind在内等公司的重要嘉宾。

<LI>杨广中院士，英国皇家工程院院士，帝国理工学院教授，哈姆林机器人手术中心（ Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery）创始人兼主任，皇家协会/沃夫逊医学图像计算实验室主任兼创始人, 沃夫逊外科技术实验室创始人之一，帝国理工学院图像科学中心主席。</LI>
<LI>林酌存，启迪控股英国有限公司总裁。启迪控股是一家依托清华大学设立的聚焦科技服务领域的科技投资控股集团，是清华科技园开发建设与运营管理单位，是首批国家现代服务业示范单位。公司控（参）股启迪古汉、启迪桑德、世纪互联、BIOREM、启迪国际、启迪设计、中文在线、北控清洁能源、兆易创新、中航讯、图卫科技等上市及非上市企业800多家，管理总资产规模超过2000亿元人民币。</LI>
<LI>刘子若博士，Eigen Tech 联合创始人兼CEO。2018年被英国商业内幕（Business Insider）选为英国35岁以下杰出青年企业家领袖之一。刘博士职业生涯始于麦肯锡，专门从事金融机构、能源和企业融资。此后，他创立并领导了一家私募股权咨询公司Aleron Partners LLP的数量金融与战略部门。刘博士拥有牛津大学博士学位，以及哈佛大学双学士学位。</LI>

Theme: AI: Witness the Golden Age of China and Britain
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and deep neural network technology at its core, artificial intelligence (AI) is shifting rapidly from a theoretical technology to being applied to existing systems in every walk of life today. The AI in the UK, represented by DeepMind, has started to experiment with this technology in areas such as healthcare, living services, and finance. With frequent visits already being made by senior leaders in the field, President Xi's visit to the Imperial College of Technology's Data Research Institute and the Medical Robotics Research Center serves as a remarkable testimony to the strong partnership between artificial intelligence communities in China and Britain. The Chinese-British Artificial Intelligence Association has become a leading force to unite British talents in the field of artificial intelligence and ensure that the future of AI technology is explored to its full extent. CBAIA’s "AI: Witness the Golden Age of China and Britain" aims to introduce the prospect of applying artificial intelligence technology to a variety of industries and, above all, to explore the exchange, cooperation, and development of science and technology between China and Britain.
