AI tools and techniques for content creators
This hands-on workshop aims to put you firmly in the AI driving seat.
Trainer - Dan Mason
What’s it about?
It won’t try to convince you that AI can replace humans (because it can’t), but it will explore how AI can be a powerful partner in producing and re-purposing content for diverse audiences. It’s about working smarter, faster and staying in control to create engaging stories using text, images, audio.
Note: The training touches on video, but it runs alongside a separate mobile video workshop. The courses, both led by trainer Dan Mason, run on consecutive days. For joining details see Shoot and Edit Mobile Video.
With the AI landscape changing daily, the training will help participants to understand which platforms work best for different tasks, including ideas, research, transcription, image generation, writing scripts and drafts and more.
While sharing a few useful free AI tools, the training will use a series of mobile-first, AI-driven web apps, created as a ‘newsroom-in-your-pocket’ to show how creators no longer have to rely on others to provide the tools they need.
Important note for participants: This workshop is not intended as a forum for debate on AI and does not imply support for the use of AI. The aim is to help you decide how AI might be used responsibly and productively in your own work.
