On behalf of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) we are delighted to invite you to a reception to recognize the contributions of architects to global climate action and to celebrate the signing of our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

On the occasion of COP28, AIA and RIBA wish to express that through joint cooperation and shared objectives we can advance the profession of architecture globally and promote a more sustainable and equitable future through design.

Join AIA President Emily Grandstaff-Rice, FAIA and RIBA President Muyiwa Oki and other industry leaders on Thursday 7 December from 19:00 – 22:00 to mark this important occasion.

The AIA is a global professional organization advocating for the value of architecture and promoting design excellence in the built environment. As part of the global community of architects worldwide, AIA shares a common goal of creating healthy, sustainable and liveable communities that help improve the quality of life.

The RIBA is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture. It serves its members and society in order to deliver better buildings and places, stronger communities, and a sustainable environment. Being inclusive, ethical, environmentally aware, and collaborative underpins all that the RIBA does.

Canapes and non-alcoholic beverages will be served in the exhibition area.

Alcoholic beverages will be served in the nearby restaurant.
