Members should then remove any ‘paid’ ticket from their basket before proceeding to checkout and payment.AIM Connected is the flagship independent music conference uniting the themes of business, tech and people for a one-day, multi-room event on 11 March 2021.AIM’s trademark TED-style ‘Strong Opinions’ format of quick-fire keynotes returns for 2021, to pack the day with knowledge and take-home advice, alongside a range of panel discussions, case studies of independent success stories, practical workshops, in-depth interviews and focussed one-on-one networking sessions with the UK’s leading music business experts. WHAT'S ONIndustry leaders delivering Strong Opinions include: Merlin CEO, Jeremy Sirota, new CEO of UK Music, Jamie Njoku-Goodwin, Executive Director of Jazz re:freshed and AIM Board Member, Yvette Griffith, Founder of Unheard Voice, Marsha Ramroop, and Chantal Epp, Founder of Click ‘n’ Clear. Panel discussions and practical workshops will cover a range of topics including: maximising livestreaming opportunities, employee wellbeing under Covid, the changing face of distribution, how to get a business ‘investment ready’ and how to ‘sweat’ back catalogue. One-on-one networking sessions will give attendees the chance to network with professionals from the digital sector plus experts in investment and business building. Networkers include: TikTok, YouTube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Deezer, Patreon, Blackstar, Mute, Jazz re:freshed and Believe Digital amongst others. There will also be a chance for attendees to socialise online with peers and speakers and make new connections. TICKETSSubsidised tickets are completely FREE for full AIM Members (Rightsholders and Distributors) as well as Friends of AIM. Non-members can purchase tickets for just £50.
