There are many reasons why people struggle with tackling difficult conversations – fear of conflict, tension, resentment, emotional discomfort, avoidance, procrastination, it’s just easier to try and keep the peace etc. How do you create an environment that allows you to have open, challenging conversations that you need to have? Where each party feels listened to, that their point of view has been understood, where you can problem solve together? This boardroom is being facilitated by Penny Woods. Penny will share her three strategies to help you develop a deeper understanding of:• What stops you from having difficult conversations, what are some of the barriers that you come up against – because everyone’s reasons will be different?• What skills you need to develop so that you can be more confident when having difficult conversations?• She will share a practical strategy and framework that you can use immediately to support you with having effective difficult conversations.
