Spymonkey is the country’s foremost comedy theatre company, creating & performing theatre, site-specific & cabaret work, touring the UK & internationally. With roots in physical theatre, circus, street theatre & site-specific work we create a distinctive brand of dark, edgy theatre that lies “somewhere between Monty Python, the Marx Brothers & Samuel Beckett” (The Houston Chronicle).As an independent, project funded company who have been creating work for over 20 years we have extensive experience of creating successful, accessible, mid-scale shows & touring them in the UK & abroad.Alongside our theatre shows, we offer education & training opportunities as professional development for the next generation of physcial comedy performers.
