The workshop will introducce the main principles of the Alexander technique with simple activities and demonstrations. You will gain awareness of postural habits when doing simple everyday activities that maybe causing pain, compression, excessive tension and stiffness. Over time these can lead to distressing functional back pain problems. The technique allows you to move with comfort and ease. It also improves ability in and the benefits of exercise, sports and physical skills needed in the workplace. Gold standard randomised clinical trials prove that the Alexander technique offers effective, long term relief to back pain.
