Algae Innovation Platform 3rd Meeting

Seaweeds are seen as an important future feedstock for Europe, providing biomass for food, feed, and other applications. Norfolk alone has over 90 miles of coast, where the land meets the North Sea, which is currently being transformed into an energy- and raw-material-generating region.

Join us for the third Algae Innovation Platform meeting where there will be updates on the work conducted so far, presentations from William Athill (Norfolk Seaweed) and Eef Brouwers (North Sea Farmers) and discussions related to the presentations. Additionally, this meeting will aim to create a clear plan for the road forward, discuss the actions that will need to be taken and delegating responsibilities.

The Algae Innovation Platform meetings will enable you to connect with other like-minded people in the area and share your ideas. The long-term goal is that the platform will lead to cross-sector collaboration and commercialisation and scale-up projects that won't only benefit you, but also the environment.
