Zara Mahoney from Harper Macleod LLP will join us to discuss what an investor wants to know before taking a risk on your business. She'll speak on the common pitfalls, top tips for a pitch deck, and how to find investors - among other topics. Most importantly, she's here to make investing conversations less daunting and more effective.

Saurabh Lall from University of Glasgow has researched gender bias and inconsistencies in conversations between investors and founders - recognising that globally, less than 3% of VC funding goes to female-led businesses. He has recently co-authored an implementation guide to hep investors assess businesses more objectively and accurately. Saurabh will provide attendees with practical approaches to counter these biases, and steer questions to best showcase your business' potential.

Rachel Boyce and Gail McCrellis are excited to share how Barclays Business Lending can support founders in scaling their ventures.
