Organising the event we have:Brian Byrne, a freelance IT manager, organiser of the Linuxing In London group, keen supporter of the non-profit community and discerning advocate for free open source software.Nic Hughes is a hands-on class teacher. Head of Computing at his school, Primary CAS Master Teacher, CAS Hub leader and a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator. Nic works as an educational consultant for 3BM and is a Google certified educator too!Volunteers from the Raspberry Jam community and Code Club.Helpers from our kind venue :)

Welcome to the first All London Raspberry Jam at Microsoft Reactor space in London What do we do?
All London Raspberry Jam is a co-operative venture promoting the Raspberry Pi, the Micro:bit, a Makers’ ethos and aimed at teaching children about technology and programming. All of our events are free to attendees. 
What to expect 
<UL>
<LI>This is a family event where parents are encouraged to join in with their children and learn more about technology and coding.</LI>
<LI>There will be light refreshments available all day for those attending.</LI>
<LI>Attendees will be welcome to stay for the whole event or for an hour.</LI>
<LI>The end of the event will include some brief sharing on what was particularly enjoyed and, of course, a FREE raffle.</LI>

The schedule 
12:00 – Doors open
12:10 – Welcome to Microsoft’s Reactor space and get your free raffle ticket
12:15 – The fun begins, the drop-in events will happen all afternoon, as well as our special workshops.
12:30 – Workshop No. 1– Crumbles - led by Nic (~45 minutes) 
13:15 – Lunch – thanks to Microsoft (If you have any special requirements please let us know)
13:30 – Femi's talk - Redhat and GoFund me
13:45 – Workshop No. 2 – Wearables - led by Rachel (~45 minutes) 
14:35 – Workshop No. 3  – Make a Scratch Collection Game - led by Anvi (45 Minutes)
15:25 – Workshop No. 4 – Micro:bit - Fitbit - led by Aaron (45 minutes) 
16:20 – Raffle draw
16:45 – Close up and a big thank to Microsoft for hosting!
All workshops are available to sign up on the day.  Numbers will vary from workshop to workshop.

A Pi Jam is a non-profit volunteer led community event focused on educating young people and kids about technology, coding and making. Think science/tech festival for kids!

Refreshments
Microsoft, our charming hosts, have kindly offered to provide light refreshment and a "Subway" lunch on the day for FREE. If you have any allergies, etc please say so when registering on the day. 
Photography While the event is on we will be taking photos and videos and sharing some online, by attending you give us permission to use your images and for future promotion of our Jams. NB: All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
