All That Lives - Creative Collaborations

The Grief Seriesis a sequence of seven projects by Leeds-based artist and performance maker, Ellie Harrison. Using a seven stage Grief Model from popular psychology as a starting point, each installment is a collaboration with another artist.

The Grief Series

Creative collaborations: an event for artists and academics Wednesday 8 May, 5.30-7.30pm (followed by drinks and snacks)
Set against the colourful backdrop of the 'Ofrenda shrines' being built during a residency of artists from The Faro in Mexico, we invite you to consider the potential benefits of interdisciplinary collaboration.
As an artist, how might research elevate and contextualise your practice? As a researcher, how could working with an artist open up new ways of presenting and thinking about your research?
Join academics from across the country and international artists to share ideas, build relationships and embrace new possibilities. Inspired by their ongoing collaboration Ellie Harrison and Laura King host this discussion and each ticket comes with the open invitation to stay for nibbles and keep the conversation going. 
Places are free but limited so booking is essential.
