The speaker is Sean White, Advocate, Ampersand Advocates.

Sean called to the Scottish Bar in 2024. He enjoys a mixed civil practice, albeit with his main interests lying in commercial, construction and property disputes and professional liability. Prior to calling to the Bar, Sean worked as a solicitor in a busy commercial practice, principally engaged with construction and energy sector litigation and dispute resolution. He maintains a keen interest in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution and holds memberships with the Adjudication Society and Society of Construction Law. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered institute of Arbitrators (CiArb).
