Traditionally lithographs are made using stone or metal plates, which are processed using materials such as gum & acid. This workshop will explore an alternative lithographic technique, polyester lithography. This is a quick & direct drawing method using marker pens, biro and acrylic paint to create the image on a paper-like polyester plate.
Polyester plate lithography requires no complex processing and the plates are inked & printed like a traditional lithograph.
Suitable for beginners, the workshop will introduce you to the technique, how to create the image and print a small edition of litho prints.
