Is the venue accessible?

Yes! There is both ramp and step access. The actual seating is raked, but there is a low level for those that need it. Due to the constraints of the venue, we can only offer 2 dedicated wheelchair spaces per night.

On-street parking is limited to local access. The nearest public parking is available at Fountainpark, about a 15 minute walk away.

How is the seating arranged?

The seating is formed of backless benches, and while cushions are provided, we advise audience members bring what they might need for their comfort. The venue can be be cold and so we recommend dressing accordingly. Seating is not reserved, unless arranged.

Salieri has pledged himself to God so that he might realize his sole ambition, to be a great composer. Mozart is a foul-mouthed, obscene little man who has that which is beyond Salieri’s envious grasp: Genius.

Back after their highly acclaimed sell out run in 2025 Strawmoddie Theatre, in collaboration with The Pianodrome, are excited to re-stage Peter Shaffer's greatest play, performed once again in an amphitheatre made of pianos!
