The Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMMIC) is launching a series of fully funded workshops aimed to help the region's manufacturing sector to utilise cutting-edge tech to implement new products or services.
Over four intensive days, you'll:
- Identify and develop solutions to real business problems
- Apply emerging technologies like automation, AI, additive manufacturing and digital twins
- Rapidly prototype and test ideas with minimal risk
- Receive structured support to help you innovate at pace
- Build internal innovation capacity — and leave with a clear action plan

30 September 2025: Discovery
- Uncover your internal opportunities for innovation, and turn your pain points into a specific problem statement.
9 October 2025: Refine and validate
- Validate early concepts, including reviewing prototypes and taking a tech deep dive.
16 October 2025: Shape value and secure buy-in
- Define a clear value proposition, more tech deep dives, prototyping and pilot test.
23 October 2025: Enable change
- Readying for implementation and change management through creating an action plan.
All sessions will take place from 9:30am - 4pm at Manchester Metropolitan University's award-winning 3D additive and digital manufacturing centre, PrintCity.
