Creative Dundee believes that culture and creativity are essential catalysts for positive change. We exist to support creative talent to base, grow and sustain their practice in and around the city by connecting and amplifying the city’s creativity.We launched Creative Dundee as a blog side project back in 2008 and ever since we have been raising the profile of the city and supporting the development of the local creative scene.

One of the many perks of being part of our <A HREF="http://creativedundee.com/amps/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Amps community</A> is the yearly forum which brings everyone together for some drink, music, games, and the opportunity to vote on their favourite pitch for the <A HREF="http://creativedundee.com/2017/08/amps-community-ideas-fund-submissions-open/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Community Ideas Fund</A> - which will be presented on the night! If you are not part of Amps yet, you can still join <A HREF="http://creativedundee.com/amps/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</A> and book your free ticket for the forum below.
The evening will start with some drinks and food in a relaxed atmosphere where you can speak to other people who are part of Amps, check out some video games around the room designed by local makers, and join 'discussion stations' where you can give your input on the future of Dundee's creative scene. You will also hear the pitches from all the projects that applied for the Community Ideas Fund and submit an anonymous vote on who should win! Once we announce the winner, stick around for drinks and a live DJ set by Raymond Jamieson.

For anyone who is part of Amps, this event is free but booking is required! If you are not an Amp yet, we've made tickets available that cover a year's subscription (as a student, individual or organisation) and sign you up for the forum.
