An Evening with Clayhill: The Songs of Gavin Clark

Presented by Rock ‘N’ Roll Book Club & Fledgling Folk

On September 25th at Walthamstow Trades Hall, Clayhill will take the stage to celebrate Gavin Clark on the tenth anniversary of his death. With songs spanning his remarkable career, it will be a night to celebrate the enduring impact of Gavin’s work with Clayhill, alongside his Sunhouse and solo work. The show coincides with the release of the new Clayhill album ‘Stand Alone’, which will feature unreleased material, covers, B sides and alt versions of album tracks.Later in 2025, Gavin’s songs will feature in a new film by Stroma Cairns, ‘Never Seen The Sea’ set for release on BBC Films, and the Sunhouse album ‘Crazy On The Weekend’ originally released in 1998 is set for vinyl rerelease on Rough Trade Records for Record Store Day.

Support from Michael Clark's (Gavin's son) LICHEN at 8pm, Clayhill at 9pm with special guests.
