An Evening with John Amaechi, OBE: Leadership Insights from It’s Not Magic

The University of Exeter Business School and the Exeter Centre for Leadership are thrilled to welcome back John Amaechi, OBE (founder of APS Intelligence Ltd and Honorary Professor at Exeter) for an inspiring evening of conversation and reflection.

John will share insights from his latest book, It’s Not Magic: The Ordinary Skills of Exceptional Leaders, which explores the everyday habits and mindsets that help leaders thrive. With warmth and clarity, the book invites readers to rethink what leadership really looks like and how anyone can grow into it.

The event will be opened by Professor Steve Woods, Dean of the Business School, and facilitated by Ciara Eastell, OBE, Honorary Professor.

Join us for an energising session that challenges old assumptions and uplifts with practical, actionable insights.
