An Evening With Patrick Charnley - Truro

Patrick Charnley will be in conversation with Cathy Rentzenbrink to discuss the inspiration behind his writing.

At the core of Patrick's novel are the severe health issues that inflicted him as a younger man, a cardiac arrest that led to a brain injury. Thus developed the plot for his story. Inspired by the Cornish landscape, he perfectly grasps his surroundings and taps into them to echo the story as it evolves. As the son of award winning Helen Dunmore, author of Zennor in Darkness, Patrick has also chosen to set his novel in this part of the county that he knows well.
