An Introduction to CANVA
Join us for an informative hands-on workshop to get started with CANVA - the graphic design software for business!
Please note: To join this workshop you or your business needs to reside within one of the following GM local authorities: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside or Trafford, Wigan.
You also need to be: The owner of a business OR an aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.
Besides your Eventbrite ticket to the event, you will also need to register with Generator HERE.

This workshop is designed for beginners, those who have never used Canva before and those who have an account but rarely use the tool.
Please bring your charged laptop, tablet or smartphone as this is a hands-on workshop where you'll be encouraged to practice as you learn.
Here's what the workshop will cover:
- Explore and discover key features
- Learn how to use CANVA templates to create eye-catching and professional designs for your business
- How to share, schedule and download your projects with ease
- Guided activities to apply what you've learnt and build confidence
- Discover helpful CANVA apps and intergrations that make your workflow faster and more creative

To ensure we have the correct information, please bring one of the following forms of identification with you to the workshop:
- Your National Insurance (NI) number – if you have not yet registered a business
- Your Companies House registration number or Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) – if you have registered a company with Companies House or are self-employed/sole trader registered with HMRC
Kindly note that we may not be able to admit you to the workshop without this information, so we strongly encourage you to have it ready on the day.
