This workshop has been designed for voluntary and community organisations to understand how they can best decide the right legal structure for their organisation using a mixture of exercises, research, and other tools; learn how to set one up; and how to check if they are still using the best structure.
This session will focus on the key aspects of all non profit legal structures helping you to understand and decide on an appropriate model that suits your leadership structure and social purposes.
Why is having the correct governance structure important for your organisation?
- Aligns with your organisation aims, mission, activities, vision, and values.

- Describes how roles such as directors/trustees/committees function and work together.
- Forms the basis of how your charity will be effectively managed to reach aims and purposes.
