Effective leadership involves recognising when mental health challenges arise and taking proactive steps to support and manage your team through these ups and downs.  

 

This session will explore the fundamentals of managing mental health in the workplace and how to recognise the early warning signs of mental health challenges in employees. There will be opportunity for questions and discussion.

This Academy Live session is aimed at veterinary professionals who are managers or leaders or aspiring to be managers or leaders.

  • Understand the fundamentals of mental health in the workplace
  • Recognise early warning signs of mental health challenges in employees

Session speaker:

Rapender Newton, RCVS MMI Lead

Rapinder Newton joined the RCVS in January 2024 as MMI Lead. She brings with her experience of working with another regulator. Passionate about workplace wellbeing, Rapinder is dedicated to fostering healthy workplace cultures and driving positive organisational change. She champions evidence-led initiatives that support employee welfare, promote inclusivity, develop compassionate leaders and enhance organisational effectiveness
