Overview

Learn about the principles of open research and how to apply them in your work.

This course is for PhD students and researchers who are interested in learning more about the practice of applying open research principles to every stage of the research lifecycle.

Open Research is a set of principles and practices whose aim is to make the outputs of research freely accessible and usable, thereby to maximise the possibility of public benefit.

Open research is relevant to all researchers and all disciplines and it includes sharing a variety of research outputs, for example, research protocols, methodology, code, data, and publications, as early as possible in the research process, in a way that enables access and reuse by others.
