Jenny Court, Senior Solicitor, CLAO

The Civil Legal Assistance Office "CLAO" is a network of four offices in Scotland that helps people with specific civil legal problems. The offices cover Edinburgh and Lothian, Highlands and Islands, Argyll and Bute, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Jenny Court was a family law private practice solicitor for 14 years before joining Civil Legal Assistance Office to work in public child law and housing. She is an accredited specialist in family law (December 2023) and primarily worked and continues to work in panels and courts in and around the North East of Scotland. In addition to honing her advocacy skills in panel hearings and at court, she has gained valuable experience regularly refereeing her own two children.
