A two-part workshop designed for beginner watercolourists. These workshops will equip you with the basic techniques behind watercolour painting. The first session will introduce you to wet and dry techniques and washes. By the end of this session, you should have painted some small sample paintings utilising silhouettes on coloured backgrounds.
In the second session, we’ll expand on these techniques to paint a natural subject, such as a simple animal or flower of your choice, with a realistic look. The classes can be attended individually, but it is highly recommended to attend both for the best experience.
Classes are kept small to ensure plenty of one-to-one support. All painting materials are provided, but you can bring your own. Plenty of photo references for subjects will also be provided, but you can bring your own photographic reference materials if there is something in particular you'd like to paint.
The workshop is 15+ but children over 10 can attend with an adult.
