About this event

About this session

Whether you have collected data through interviews, surveys, or feedback, it can be challenging to make sense of the raw information. The key is to understand what the data is telling you, pull out the most useful insights, and then analyse and present it in a way that makes an impact.

On the day, we will show you simple tools to analyse your data. You will learn how to code your data, find key themes, and use easy digital tools to help. By the end of the session, you will have a plan for how to analyse data for your work in the future.

Kate White and her team from Superhighways will be leading the session on Thursday 25 September, 13:00 - 16:00 at Oru Sutton. They are passionate about helping local communities use technology for good. Kate and her team ran a great Café earlier this year on Where to Find Data for Community and Voluntary Organisations and will bring the same hands-on, practical approach to this workshop.

About South West London Research Support Network

The South West London (SWL) Research Support Network, established by the NHS South West London Integrated Care System, is a collaborative initiative to empower local communities and voluntary organisations to conduct their own research.

Through a series of relaxed network meetings, members can engage in mutual learning opportunities with a diverse group of researchers and community members. This informal setting encourages open dialogue and the sharing of ideas, making it easier to change insights into various research methodologies and best practices.

In addition to exchanging knowledge with experienced community members and researchers, members will also have the chance to network with peers, which can lead to the formation of collaborative relationships and partnerships that leverage the strengths and expertise of all involved.
