Do you know what the Analysis Function is? What does it mean to you?
 
Analysts are based in all departments and form part of the cross-government Analysis Function; supporting everyone in government to make better decisions to improve the lives of the people of the UK. 
 
Come and join our upcoming Civil Service Local discovery session aimed at enabling you to understand how analysis, evidence and research can help you in your role and how you can work with analysts to make better decisions. We will also explain what the overall functional agenda is, and how it fits across government.

You will also learn about the Analysis Function career framework, which can help you decide if a career in government analysis is right for you, what the potential opportunities are, and what skills and learning can help you get there.
 
This informal event will be delivered by colleagues working in the analytical function at the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Places are limited so please book early to secure your place.

Time : 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Register for your place on Eventbrite. Please sign up using your work email address or we might not be able to accept your booking. If having booked a ticket you are no longer able to attend please ensure you cancel your ticket promptly so someone else may have the place.
Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager to attend and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This is a learning event and may count towards your 5 a year learning and development days.
