Animate Spring! Coding with Scratch
Join our creative workshops designed for the whole family in a safe space to learn and create with other families raising disabled children.
Get ready to bring Spring to life with code!
In this session, we will design a simple animation in Scratch using colourful characters and backgrounds. Along the way, we’ll explore loops, repetition, and costume changes to create smooth, repeating movements.
This is perfect for coders who enjoy creativity, storytelling and making things move!
We will be using the free Scratch website for this workshop, which is available on any device.
The workshop is held online via Zoom with an accredited trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team. All joining emails, reminders and event information will come directly from Family Fund.
Please note:
- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for families who are living in the UK.
- This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person.
- You’ll need to have a device to access the internet to take part in the workshop activities.
- To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
