Bottletop is an animation and video production company in the heart of the creative quarter of Nottingham.We work throughout the Midlands, London, the UK and globally with clients from every sector, some big, some small producing award winning animation, motion graphics& video for broadcast television, film, events, attractions, social media and web.

ANIMORSELS - The Sequel
Nothing too awful happened at our first event, so we're putting on a second!
Whether you love all things animation, work in animation, once saw an animation or just know that Popeye was a sailor, join us for an evening of animated things & drinks!
Featuring short animations old and new, a free drink, lucky bag and a talk from Steve Smith!
An introduction to the creative, inventive, and at times quite surreal world of Olobob Top. Created by picture-book author-illustrator Leigh Hodgkinson and her husband and animation director-producer Steve Smith of Beakus, Olobob Top is a 52-episode children’s animation for CBeebies - and is about to have a second series. Its unique take on creative play, through the building of new characters and outlandish scenarios, almost won Beakus a Kidscreen Award last year… almost!
From conception to transmission it’s been an up-and-down kind of journey, as all good journeys are, and Steve will be sharing some of that with us all.
 
microMORSELS
We're also running an animation challenge "Micromorsels". Open to anyone, send us a short animation with a maximum duration of 20 seconds.

A rough schedule:

<LI>7:15 pm - Steve Smith</LI>
<LI>8:00 pm - Grab another drink & say hello to some more folk</LI>
<LI>9:00 pm - Sup up and say goodbye</LI>
</UL>
 
Please note some of the animations will contain elements / themes unsuitable for children so the event is strictly 16+. If you're under 18 your complimentary drink will be of the soft variety, bar staff will ask for I.D from anyone they think necessary.
