A reminder that our next Answer Cancer Stakeholder Collaborative will be taking place on Tuesday the 24th of March 2026 from 9.45am -12.30pm at Friends Meeting House Manchester


The Answer Cancer Get Together (Stakeholder Collaborative) is a fantastic way to hear updates about cancer screening across Greater Manchester. You’ll hear examples of best practice and be able to speak to Answer Cancer Champions and staff. This is a face-to-face event. Registration will take place from 09.45am to 10.00am when the event starts, tea and coffee will be provided, and we plan to finish by 12pm when lunch will be served.

· Get new ideas to help you engage with others

· Take part in our World Café engaging sessions

· Find out how Answer Cancer staff can help and support your work

· Network! These events are a great networking opportunity

We particularly want to invite Cancer Champions and Voluntary Sector organisations, but anyone with an interest in cancer screening, cancer prevention and early detection is welcome.

Answer Cancer is the working name of the Greater Manchester Cancer Screening Engagement Programme. It is a voluntary sector partnership working to improve cancer awareness and increase uptake of cancer screening across Greater Manchester.

Getting here and parking

Tram:

Our nearest stop is St. Peter’s Square, which is a 30 second walk away from our front door.

Once off the tram at St Peter’s tram stop look for the Central Library building and head towards it

When facing the library there is a entrance area to the right of the building. Go through the door and head towards the alley at the other side

You will find our Meeting House at the end of the alley across the road


Train

We are within walking distance of all the city centre rail stations, approx times on foot:

Manchester Piccadilly – 20 min

Manchester Victoria – 15 min

Manchester Oxford Rd – 10 min

Salford Central – 15min

Deansgate – 10 min


Bus

Several bus routes stop near the Meeting House, including the Metroshuttle, free buses linking the main rail stations, car parks, shopping areas and businesses in Manchester city centre. Find out more at www.tfgm.com.


Car
