East Midlands and Yorkshire Aphasia cen:

  • Aphasia & Cognitive communication disorders

Join us for our next East Midlands and Yorkshire Aphasia CEN event.

This event will focus on working with people with Cognitive Communication Disorders post-stroke and will include presentations and group discussions.

  • Main speakers:

Kelly Reeder is a Highly Specialist SLT and PhD student specialising in Brain Injury. Kelly will be giving us an overview of cognitive communication disorders

Beth Chadwick is a Stroke Specialist Occupational Therapist and she will be telling us about a cognitive rehabilitation group currently being run in the Sheffield Community Stroke Service.

  • Getting there:

Parking - there are a small number of parking spaces at the venue. Free road parking is also available on Burgoyne Road and Whitehouse Lane.

Tram - The Primrose Hill/Langsett tram stop is directly outside the venue, with regular trams to and from the city centre and Hillsborough.
