Please note that this is an event solely for parents/carers rather than applicants, who have their own event later in the year.We are holding two Introduction Evenings on Thursday 16 April 2026 and Thursday 23 April 2026. You are welcome to attend whichever evening is most convenient for you.These evenings are designed to help you learn more about the College and support your young person in making an informed decision about their next steps. In particular, the evening will provide information on a range of topics, including:· The benefits of post-16 education and what Brockenhurst College can provide.· How Study Programmes and the curriculum are structured at Brock.· The support available to students both inside and outside the classroom.· Wider learning opportunities on offer to students.· Support for the transition from school to college.The evening will begin with a talk delivered by members of our Senior Leadership Team followed by a student panel where you will have the opportunity to ask some of our current students any general questions you may have about the College and what it is like to study with us.Following the talks and the student panel, we would like to invite you to stay for some refreshments and the opportunity to speak one-to-one with staff at the College, who will answer any further questions you have. Staff available will include those who have expertise in careers, learning support, admissions, student travel, and student finance. Members of our Senior Leadership Team will also be present.The transition to post-16 education and in particular, from school to college, is a significant phase in a student’s educational career. Therefore, we hope you can attend our Introduction Evening to find out more about how we work with parents and students to ensure success in their next steps.
