LivingWorks ASIST teaches participants to provide a skilled intervention to people with thoughts of suicide and develop a collaborative safety plan to keep someone safe.

Is this training appropriate for me?

ASIST is a two-day workshop which deals with issues of suicide and so will cover subjects which may be difficult for some people, particularly those with recent relevant experiences. It is advised that, in this case, if you have any concerns, you speak to one of the trainers before attending.

What about travel to the venue?

Faversham Train Station is a five minute walk from the venue and there are two large, paid car parks nearby to the Alexander Centre.

Lunch is not provided but there are numerous shops and cafes within a few minutes walk of the venue. Basic refreshments will be provided in the breaks.
