Apprenticeship Fair

Pathways annual apprenticeship fair returns for 2026 with a wide range of opportunities available in Basildon borough and across South Essex

Just ahead of National Apprenticeship Week, Basildon Council's employability and skills hub, Pathways, is hosting our annual Apprenticeship Fair.

This event is a chance to speak with employers and training providers about their apprenticeship schemes and upcoming opportunities, whether you are actively looking for a role or just considering your future options.

Remember many apprenticeships are open to people of all ages now, and can be for taking your current career to the next level as well as for people looking to enter a new field of work.

Big name employers confirmed so far for our Apprenticeship Fair include Basildon Council and the Hill Group.

Other employers at the event operate in sectors such as engineering or construction.

There will also be training providers at the event which deliver apprenticeships in a wide range of roles including:

• Accountancy
• Bricklaying
• Childcare
• Hairdressing
• Social Care

Pathways’ Apprenticeship Fair is on Thursday 5th February, 2:30pm-4:30pm, in the entrance foyer of the Basildon Centre, St. Martin's Square, Basildon, SS14 1DL.

Booking to attend is encouraged, although drop-ins are welcome. Relatives accompanying young people, or those attending in a professional capacity, are not required to book.
