Are you an engineer or a senior leader, in an engineering or manufacturing SME in Lancashire, and would like to consider a degree apprenticeship as part of your personal development or upskilling?  Then why not come along to Blackburn College for a taster session to see what is involved in these qualifications?  You will have the opportunity to sit in a lecture (a choice of an Engineering or a Business one is available) with first year degree apprenticeship students, tour the facilities and have the chance to ask questions of the relevant members of staff. 
 
Agenda
0800:         Registration and refreshments
0900:         Attend a lecture on Materials, Design and Sustainability OR on Changing Organisational           Culture
1000:         Tour of the electronics lab, mechanical workshop and additives classroom (3D Printing)
1100:         Question and Answer session
1200:         Close of session
 
This taster session is open to Lancashire-based SMEs in the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing sector. 
Participants must be staff of eligible Lancashire-based SME’s in the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing sector.  Upon receiving your Eventbrite booking request, the team will contact you to confirm eligibility and liaise with you about registering for the programme in advance of attending.  We reserve the right to allocate places only to eligible businesses.
