Archaeological Processing of CRI-T Drain Fill Samples

Overview

Learn how to properly process and analyze CRI-T samples to discover the secrets of the soil.

Environmental Processing of CRI-S Samples

Welcome to our in-person event on processing CRI-S samples! Join us at Wardell Armstrong LLP for a hands-on experience in environmental sample processing. Learn the techniques and best practices in handling and analyzing samples. Network with fellow professionals and experts in the field. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in environmental processing.

Environmental processing involves washing soil to encourage small finds, flora debria and insect remains to float to the surface. This provides valuable information about the environment around the Cricket Club, at the time the sample was deposited.

It is mucky work, so wear old clothes and expect to be standing. Lunch is not provided, it is recommended to bring some with you, or you will have to visit the butty van down the road!

We are sorry, but this venue (a working Archaeological Laboratory) is not fully accessible. There are multiple steps up to the entrance ground floor. An accessible toilet is available, and in on the ground floor. The kitchen facilities are up a flight of stairs.
