Jeremy Till and Anthony Powis (Mould) and Barnabas Calder and Florian Urban (Form Follows Fuel)

At this event, Jeremy Till and Anthony Powis of the Mould Collective and Barnabas Calder and Florian Urban will present their new books, Architecture is Climate (2025, dpr-barcelona) and Form Follows Fuel: 14 Buildings from Antiquity to the Oil Age (2025, Routledge) and engage with each other and the audience in a panel discussion about the issues they raise. The discussion will be chaired by Lindsay Bremner. All are welcome.


Jeremy Till is Emeritus Professor of Architecture at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London

Anthony Powis is Lecturer in Architecture and Climate at the University of Sheffield

Barnabas Calder is head of the History of Architecture Research Cluster at the University of Liverpool

Florian Urban is Professor of Architectural History, University of Glasgow

Lindsay Bremner is Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange in the School of Architecture and Cities, at the University of Westminster


This event is co-hosted by the History and Theory module in the March and the Architecture and Cities Climate Action Task Force in the School of Architecture and Cities at the University of Westminster.
