<h3>Join us for an interactive evening of problem-solving, collaboration, and cutting-edge software architecture.</h3>Following the success of April’s Software Crafters session, Codurance is delighted to once again partner with Lloyds Banking Group for an Architecture Kata as part of September’s Leeds Digital Festival.This event is all about exploring software architecture in a fun and engaging way—expect dynamic discussions, real-world scenarios, and plenty of takeaways to level up your knowledge of technical architecture and design. Codurance and Lloyds Banking Group have created an Architecture Kata specifically for this event, so come along to be part of this unique event.<h3>What is a Kata?</h3>A kata is borrowed from martial arts, where it refers to a choreographed pattern of movements practiced to perfection. In a tech setting, it becomes a team-based challenge where participants work through a fictional but realistic scenario to design a solution architecture. The goal is not to produce a perfect answer, but to practice the process of architectural thinking, collaboration, and trade-off analysis.<h3>Team Challenge</h3>Lloyd Banking Group will introduce the Architecture Kata and explain the use case. You’ll be split into teams and asked to produce an architecture solution to meet the use case. You don’t need any prior experience of software or solution architecture, it’s all about applying your problem-solving skills, working with a team and decision-making.Real-World Trade-offs: Just like in actual projects, you’ll have to navigate trade-offs, interact with a Product Owner, and craft a well-thought-out solution architecture.Showcase &amp; Discussion: After designing your architecture, teams will present their solutions and choices to the wider group, sparking insights and lively debate.This is your chance to experience Solution Architecture in a collaborative, hands-on setting - perfect for honing your skills in a supportive environment!<h3>Audience</h3>This event is for anyone, across all industries in both the private and public sector, that is interested in learning more about testing and quality in general.Please note, food and drinks will be provided, with vegetarian and vegan options available.<h3>Speakers &amp; Hosts</h3>The event will be facilitated by tech leaders from Codurance and Lloyds Banking Group.About Codurance: Codurance is a global software consultancy that helps businesses and public sector organisations build a better, sustainable technical capability that supports growth and innovation.
