ARC@KU pop-up Retrocomputing and Gaming
Get ready to dive into the world of retrocomputing and gaming at ARC@KU's pop-up event, where old becomes new again!
ARC@KU’s first pop-up event of the year will showcase machines we were unable to include in our main exhibition in August, alongside some new acquisitions. We’ll have the classics like the NES, Atari 2600 and Megadrive, but this time we'll be featuring exhibits from the next generation of consoles, including the Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and the legendary original PlayStation.
Naturally, we'll also have a selection of classic 8- and 16-bit microcomputers for your gaming and tinkering pleasure, but alongside the classics from Sinclair, Acorn and the usual giants will be some esoterica that didn't make the cut last time, such as the Sord M5 and Mattel Aquarius.
We'll be open at 4pm until 8:30pm - feel free to arrive any time in that window. Admission is free, but capacity is limited, so please book to avoid disappointment.
