About this Event
For UoB Engineering students only
You'll get an introduction to micro-controller platforms such as Arduino/Teensy and how we can manage inputs and outputs. We explore digital versus analogue applications with some practical circuit prototyping using breadboard and basic coding concepts. This session is a great introduction to micro-controllers, electronics, and coding.
This session is suitable for students of all levels with interests in coding, electronics, micro-controllers, Arduino, Teensy.
Please bring with you
- visor, face covering
- a laptop with ‘Arduino IDE’ installed*
*Available from Software Centre on a UoB laptop or https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
A note to students:
Please book your place using your UoB email address.
While we start running these on-campus practical sessions, we will aim to keep changing when we run them during the week, and how often, depending on demand. Bear with us if you don't find a session time that suits you at the moment, we will endeavour to put up more dates when we can.
